                   Day 1: Arrive in Edinburgh; check into hotel; rest of the day on your own.

                   Day 2: Walking tour of Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and the Palace of

                                       Holyroodhouse.

                   Day 3: Day trip with driver-guide, explore Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies, Wallace

                                       Monument, Callendar House & Linlithgow Palace.

                   Day 4: Day-trip to Dawyck Botanic Gardens & Rosslyn Chapel.

                   Day 5: Travel to Dumfries via Chesters Fort & Hadrian’s Wall, check into hotel, with the rest of the day on your own.

                   Day 6: Guided Tour of Dumfries & Robert Burns House, with the afternoon free.

                   Day 7: Day trip from Dumfries to explore the Castles and Abbeys of the region.

                   Day 8: Car transfer from Dumfries to Glasgow; check-in at the hotel, then a

                                       4-hour walking tour of Glasgow. 

                   Day 9: Departure for Home.
